 <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

SIZE CATEGORIES<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Competition is divided into 3 categories according to shoulder height as per FCI rules:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Small\/mini dogs:                 Up to 34.99 cm. <\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Medium dogs:<\/b>                       From 35,00 to 42.99 cm. <\/b><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Large\/standard dogs:<\/b>       43.00 cm and above.<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    NUMBER OF STARTS<\/b><\/span> PER DAY
    \n<\/span><\/b><\/span>The competition will be conducted in four different competition rings with an average of around 375 starts per ring per day.
    \n<\/span>A limit of 6 starts per handler per day will be applied. However, if you enter the competition with two or more dogs, you must expect to be placed in situations where you are expected to run in more than one ring at the same time. The responsibility of being moved in the starting order, either to the beginning or to the end of the class (or group, in case more than one course walk are planned in the class), rests SOLELY<\/strong> with the handler.
    \n<\/span>If you miss your number in the starting order without prior arrangement with the primary responsible person in the competition ring, you will not be allowed to start in that particular class.<\/span><\/p>\n

    FOREIGN COMPETITORS<\/b><\/span> PLACEMENT IN THE DANISH CLASSES
    \n<\/span><\/b><\/span>If your home country has official jumping classes, then these determine your placement in the Danish jumping classes. If your country only has official agility classes, then you start in the equivalent jumping class in Denmark.
    \n<\/span>Results achieved in jumping counts only in jumping. The same applies for agility results.<\/span><\/p>\n

    OFFICIAL CLASSES
    \n<\/span><\/b><\/span>Competition is divided into 3 official classes in accordance with FCI rules and the Danish Kennel Club amendments.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Agility and Jumping class 1:
    \n<\/b>Only open for dogs not qualified to participate in FCI class 2 or 3.
    \nOutplacement to class 2 happens with a total of eight faultless runs in class 1 (of which a minimum of four must be obtained in agility) under at least two different judges.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

    Agility and Jumping class 2:
    \n<\/b>Only open for dogs out placed from class 1 and not yet qualified to participate in class 3.
    \nOutplacement to class 3 happens with a total of six faultless runs placed among the best 20 % of the competitors in the class (of which a minimum of three must be obtained in agility), again under at least two different judges.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

    Agility 3 and Jumping class 3:
    \n<\/b>Only open for dogs outplaced from class 2. In class 3 even dogs who have already earned the Danish Champion\/Master title participates.
    \nFor Danish owned dogs the Danish Champion\/Master title is acquired by being placed three times as the best not-yet-champion\/master with no faults under at least two different judges.
    \n<\/span>All dogs can win agility and jumping certificates in Denmark. Pedigree dogs earn the title of Danish Agility or Jumping Champion by winning three certificates. Non-pedigree dogs earn the title of Danish Agility or Jumping Master.
    \nThere are no additional requirements regarding the dog being entire or approved for breeding.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Please observe that foreign owned dogs who have already obtained titles as Agility Champion and\/or Jumping Champion in their home country, are required to win only ONE certificate in order to earn the Champion\/Master title in Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

    UNOFFICIAL CLASSES
    \n<\/b><\/span><\/span>The following unofficial classes will be offered:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Agility and jumping qualification class (QUAL)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Junior class<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Senior class<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      according to the Danish Kennel Club agility regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Agility and Jumping qualification class (QUAL):
      \n<\/b>These classes are open ONLY<\/span><\/strong> for dogs qualified to participate in class 2 or 3 (NO seniors). The level of difficulty is aimed at being in between class 2 and 3. <\/span>All qualification classes (Sunday through Friday) count in the ongoing competition, culminating in the Dania Cup 2020 Final. This may ALSO<\/strong> include junior handlers.
      \n<\/span>The qualification classes will be conducted i.a.w. the open class regulations.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      Junior classes:
      \n<\/b>Only open to young handlers between 8 and 16 years of age. In the junior classes only the junior handler and the dog together with the judge are allowed on the course during the run.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Please note<\/span> <\/i><\/b>that dogs participating in the junior qualification classes ARE NOT ALLOWED to participate in the agility and jumping qualification classes with another handler. <\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      Please note<\/i><\/b><\/span> <\/i>that <\/strong>A SEPERATE JUNIOR FINAL may be conducted.<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

      Senior classes:
      \n<\/b>Only open to dogs with an age of 7 years or older at the day of competition. If the dog is registered for participation in the senior classes, this applies during THE ENTIRE WEEK of competition<\/b>. Senior classes will \u2013 in order to protect our elderly dogs \u2013 only be offered in agility and jumping class 2 \u2013 i.e. no qualification classes<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      THE FINAL OF DANIA CUP 2020
      \n<\/span><\/u><\/strong>A final will be held for each size category: one for standard\/large dogs, one for medium and one for small\/mini dogs. Participants are limited to the top 15 % of the average number of participants in the qualification classes during the entire week with a maximum of 30 large, 15 medium and 15 small dogs.
      \n<\/span>The final itself is one<\/span><\/b> run on an agility course. No points are brought forward into the final. Only the starting order is determined by the points earned during the week (lowest score starts last). The Dania Cup 2020 winner is the dog that wins in the Final.  <\/span><\/p>\n

      Please note<\/i><\/b><\/span> <\/i>that junior finals  – if conducted – will be run in respective size categories just before the ordinary finals. This means that the junior handlers will do their course walk together with the ordinary finalists in each size category. The juniors will then start the final runs in the size category, and when the last junior handler has finished his\/her run, the winning junior handler will be celebrated. After this celebration, the ordinary finalists will do their runs.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      QUALIFICATION FOR OF DANIA CUP FINAL
      \n<\/span><\/strong>The winner of each of the five qualification classes for each size category as well as the runner up for standard\/large dogs will qualify directly to the Dania Cup Final. <\/span>For any other dog (10 small\/mini dogs, 10 medium dogs and 20 standard\/large dogs) the best three results, earned in the qualification classes, (two results in agility, one result in jumping) counts in the run for qualifying to run the Final. Point are earned in each QUAL class as follows: First place = 1 point, second place = 2 points, Twentyfifth place = 25 points. The qualifying dogs are the ones with the lowest points total.
